My wife and I just wanted to have a nice room to sleep in (we wanted to focus the funds we had on the wine experience), and so we opted for this instead of the higher priced hotels available. The room was nice and clean, fairly quiet, and the staff were very nice, making sure all of our needs were taken care of…The only thing that would have been nice is if the heater/AC unit had a thermostat, instead on a constant on…I would turn on the heater, then have to shut if off when it got too hot…but this gripe is really small…a great hotel all around!Feb 13, 2009
Staff was very friendly in the lobby and whenever you went out they always greeted you. The rooms were nice, confortable and very clean. I would certainly stay there again. Breakfast bar tables could have been arranged differently, too many in the room, got a little crowded.Guest Comments from Priceline.com

The hotel clerks were courteous and friendly. They served a fair breakfast with different choices. It was convenient to stores.Oct 9, 2007
Our stay was quite satisfactory overall. There was a good amount of counter space for hairdryers, rollers, etc. so my husband and I each had enough room for our “stuff”. The decor was pleasant and the room was very clean. I liked the separate vanity area outside the bathroom. We definitely needed more water pressure in the shower.Sep 19, 2007
Very obliging staff. Light and sunny. Great breakfast of homemade cinnamon rolls and hard boiled eggs. Room clean and pleasant.Guest Comments from Expedia.com

We expected nothing but high quality when it comes to Holiday Inn Express and we were not disappointed when we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Temecula. The service is awesome, with a very friendly staff. The room was perfect and the bed was so comfortable. They provided a nice breakfast, with so many food options. We would definitely visit again.Guest Comments from Orbitz.com

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The only issue we had was that, either the laundry detergent they use on the … sheets reacted with my wifes skin. The location and hotel were very clean and user friendly. I would recommend this hotel to others going to Temecula. I will stay there again upon my return to California.Oct 5, 2008
THE HOLIDAY INN WAS AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE.WHEN WE CHECKED IN,I WAS SURPRISED THE FRONT DESK PUT US ON A FLOOR THAT WAS … BEING REMODELED.THERE WERE MATTRESS’S IN THE HALLWAY.WE CALLED DOWNSTAIRS AND EXPLAINED WE NEEDED TO BE MOVED.ONCE WE MOVED OUR ROOM WAS FABULOUS.BREAKFAST WAS YUMMY AND WE HAD SO MANY OPTIONS.I WISHED WE COULD HAVE ENJOYED THE JACUZZI BUT IT WAS NOT CLEAN [WE OPTED NOT TO ENTER].ALL AND ALL WE HAD A VERY NICE GETAWAY…THIS LOCATION WAS LOCATED CLOSE TO THE WINERIES WE VISITED.THIS LOCATION WAS ALSO CLOSE TO MANY RESTAURANTS…WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE….Jul 13, 2008
The Holiday Inn Express was great. Fast check-in and after changing clothes from a long drive (arizona) asked the front desk … where we could get dinner close by, he suggested the mexican place within walking distance, guadelaharas sp? i think…. it was fantastic, had a couple beers, had dinner, got to see a little angel baseball and no driving, great suggestion. Will stay here again no problem…Aug 13, 2007
Front desk staff was great. The room was located on the highway side of the building so it was a little noisy, but if you … but if you turn on the AC or the fan you don’t hear the noise. Didn’t stay long enough for dinning or much else, but it was a great place to stop over on a long tripJun 23, 2007
The best feture in this hotel is the beds, they are the most comfortable beds I have had in any hotel. I liked the Europen … style duvets very much. The room was spacous, had a desk as well as table with chairs. I missed the fitnes room at the hotel had to drive to a nearby gym. It was free of charge but I had to leave the hotel and drive there, inconvenient.Apr 29, 2007
The Holiday Inn Express in Temecula was very accomodating to me and the trained Service Dog I was delivering to his … recipient. The rooms were spacious and clean on our arrival. The hotel is located in a safe neighborhood and I was not nervous when taking the dog our for a walk after dark. It is also located near our training center which was very convenient for me. I would recommend this hotel to others planning a stay in this area.Apr 8, 2007
This was the first time staying at Holiday Inn Express. We had very friendly service, I’m not a big breakfast person so the … breakfast buffet was perfect. Hot coffee, bagels, juice, etc. We loved the pool area and the location was great.Feb 21, 2007
Very conviently located, loved the extras in my room, example microwave, iron & board, small fridge, coffe maker and hair … dryer which helps especially for those who are travelling light.Feb 17, 2007
This hotel has everything and close to highway and all the other local attractions. I like the free internet and breakfast. … The staff at the front desk could be friendlier. I would recommend this hotel to everybody.FEb 12, 2007
A large room, a comfortable bed and a pool warm enough to swim in. The jacuzzi was also nice. Continental breakfast was no … frills but enough to do for breakfast. The location was industrial with the freeway noise a large factor. The hotel abuts the freeway. Location though was central enough to get to all the places we wanted to go. There was plenty of parking which is nice.Dec 10, 2006
The stay was great. My husband and I always reserve two beds in a hotel because we have a hard time staying a sleep. we wake … each other up by moving and turning. We got a room this time with a king size bed and it was fabulous, We both were very comfortable and slept well. The breakfast was great and they allowed us to fill our thermos of coffee to take to the soccer game. Outstanding. We will return. The pool and Jacuzzi were just the right temperature. My granddaughter loved it. My son and granddaughter stayed in another room and were very please with quietness to sleep being next to the laundry room The people here are very respectful.Jun 11, 2006
The hotel was pleasant enough, but the second night the elevator was not in service and the most annoying thing was that … there were no drapes to block the light at night. There was a coffee-maker and excellent coffee, a small refrigerator and a microwave, a large TV, comfortable chair, an iron and ironing board and a very comfortable king-size bed. In the mornings a very nice breakfast was served buffet style near the lobby.Guest Comments from Travelocity.com

For the money it has everything you need. Vanity outside of the bathroom, fridge, microwave, comfortable bed, good heavy shower curtain. Very pleasant place to stay. They thought of all your needs as in a nightlight in the bathroom. They aim to please.Jun 2007
Large King Size bed was great, slept better than at home. Room clean, no problems. Convenient to restaurants & freeway.Guest Comments from Tripadvisor.com

We went to Temecula for a Vealentines gestaway…the holiday inn express is located right off the freeway, just minutes from the wine country and downtown Temecula. The hotel is new so the rooms were in great condition. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining where to eat and how to experience the wine country, The only thing we didn’t like was the water in the bathroom left a bad smell in the room. Other than that our stay was great .. For wineries we highly recommend Calaway;s for lunch. Wine tasting at Wilson Creek…gotta try the almond champagne.Jan 4, 2009
My wife and I stayed for one night at Holiday Inn Express in Temecula. We checked in at about 2 p.m. and received a room on the 3rd floor. The room was called a Supreme Business Class room. It faced I-15, but the freeway noise was not bothersome. The room had a small make-up table and chair, a sofa, and a desk for writing. The free wi-fi was strong and fast. The huge flat screen TV had only 13 channels, including HBO. The usual HI Express conveniences such as suitcase trolleys, quick check out, and free coffee in the lobby were there (but I checked the lobby coffee four times, and it was empty three out of four times). The complimentary breakfast included cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, and scrambled eggs in the downstairs breakfast room. We liked the 12 noon check out. Except for a few oversights this hotel would be a 5.Nov 26, 2008
The hotel has been recently renovated so everything looks brand new and clean. The front desk woman and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good, with a selection of breakfast meats each morning (bacon/sausage), biscuits, gravy, omelettes, yogurt, fruit, juices, and cinnamon rolls. They had staff there refilling all trays when anything was low. The only complaint here is that they had the TV on at full volume showing Fox News with the typical talking heads arguing. Having to listen to people screaming at each other at 8am is a little bit much and I would suggest either turning that off or removing the TV altogether. Then maybe people in the breakfast room could carry on a conversation without being drowned out by the needless noise…Oct 2, 2008
Excellent staff and service; business hotel with many family clients, almost all of whom seemed to like staying there as I did. If you have to be in the desert on business, or want to be for wine tasting, this is IT! Ask for room away from highway on 3d floor for quiet. Free parking, expanded continental breakfast, coin laundry, free computer and fax. TVs had incurable red color extremely prominent, only downside–gotta complain about something. Would stay again!Jul 26, 2008
My husband and I spent the July 4 weekend wine tasting at the Temecula wineries. Admittedly, the Holiday Inn Express wasn’t my first choice in accomodations. But with the crazy rates in Temecula that weekend, the Holiday Inn Express had the best value & price for the area at the time. The Holiday Inn Express turned out better than I expected. The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfy. The room came with a refrigerator and a microwave. The refrigerator was convenient for storing some of the wine we purchased from the wineries. I also appreciated the rainfall showerhead in the bathroom. I had left my toothbrush at home and the hotel was quick to accommodate me with a complimentary toothbrush. The hotel is situated very close to Rancho California Road and Old Town Front Street, which are great areas to explore.Click to view more Photos, Maps & Comments.
