A new hotel as of early 2008, I believe a stay here is a great bargain. The staff was very courteous when I spoke to them over the phone and at all times during our stay. I had flowers delivered to the hotel on the date of check-in and they were considerate enough to have them waiting for us in the room when we checked in. The room was very clean and larger than I expected. The bed was very comfy and had plenty of pillows. The view was not much to look at, but that’s not much of a complaint - the convenience of having the hotel just off the freeway was very nice. It also made getting to wineries, restaurants, and shopping destinations very easy.

The staff was awesome and the accomodation exceeded my expectations for a 2 1/2 star hotel. The bed was comfortable, internet worked great, and I love their shower. I would stay there again for sure.

Clean. Nice comfy beds. Quiet, except for traffic and TV. Our room was facing the freeway and it was a little loud. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. 42″ flat panel TV. The TV made a ticking noise all night. Walk to lots of shopping and restaurants. Great shower. Breakfast bar was dirty and the person that was supposed to be taking care of it was sitting in the room watching TV.

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The rooms have plenty of room to relax. The hot breakfast in the morning is a plus. I would stay here again. I can see how people would drive right by the place…they need a sign out on the street.

The lobby is nicely appointed and the staff very courteous. Our first floor room was spacious with 12 foot high ceilings. The bath/shower has additional jets that are wonderful for tired or sore back muscles - this was a treat! The beds are comfortable and although our room was next to the freeway we never heard any noise. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Couldn’t figure out how to work the shower. Not note pad or pens in the room. No ice machine on the 3rd floor. Why did a 12 oz can of soda cost $1 and only a 10 oz bottle of water cost the same thing? No snack machine. Breakfast was pass…we went out instead.

Great stay. Pleasant counter people. The bed was the best we’ve ever had. The complimentary breakfast was great. Close to all our needs in Temecula. Very reasonably priced for the accomodations.

The Hotel is about 10 minutes real time drive from the heart of the wine country area. The hotel is perfectly clean, organized and maintained. There is another hotel very close however our room was perfectly dark despite having bright lights outside. The room was initially pretty hot when we walked in but cooled off in about 10 minutes.

I was told by several people that this was the oldest Hotel in the area. Well to my surprise they had just Re-opened 5 months ago. The hotel is very Clean and New. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are some of the best I have slept on. The customer service is above average with helpfull employees.

The guy working at the front desk when I checked in was very helpful and curtious! He went out of his way to help a friend of mine find directions online and printed them out for him. The only thing I didn’t love about La Quinta was that there was no room service available. With as busy a work/travel schedule as I have, room service would have been really convenient during my stay. Overall, I would definitely recommend La Quinta to a friend! My room was comfortable, clean, and spacious!

This hotel had been open for a short while, before we arrived. Rooms and bathroom were very spacious. Continental breakfast included waffles, cereal, yogurt and fruit. Fitness room had plenty of equipment, plus you could see the pool from the room. We used the laundry facilities. Too bad they didn’t have one on each floor. It was also located less than a mile from a large shopping mall and had plenty of restaurants nearby.

When we got there, the room was not ready to check in so that was a bit of a headache as we were trying to prepare for a wedding. But, we ended up in a nice, clean room and the next day we weren’t able to get a cab to our car so the person at the counter took us the short distance to our car. Very nice. It is a new hotel so it is very clean, plasmas, breakfast included. As long as they can work out the housekeeping to meet the incoming customers, this is a great deal for wine country.

I would stay here again if doing a wine tour, but not for casino access. Don’t plan on using cold pool or Jacuzzi. No rollaways; allow dogs.

The Inn’s room was new looking. The front desk clerk was very helpful and changed my room because the window wouldn’t close completely. I liked the amenities: flat screen T.V., microwave, refrigerator, iron & hair dryer. The location is great: close to the freeway, shopping and restaurants.

This facility is brand new and offers spacious suite style rooms. It’s location is convenient to Temecula and its wine country. Included breakfast is very basic and, except for reheated, pre-made, eggs and sausage, is best characterized as a very basic continental breakfast. Staff is very friendly. We would definitely stay here again, however.

The location of this hotel is excellent for the traveler with easy-on and off from the expressway. While the room was clean and the bed very comfortable, there was a tapping noise coming from the refrigerator area during the night which woke me up several times. Even after trying to turn the refrigerator off, the noise continued. When mentioned to the front desk in the morning, she tried to say it was just the ice maker. It was a continuous noise not intermittent. They also forgot my wake-up call in the morning.

We checked in at night and the gentleman at the desk was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and quiet (we were put on the side away from the freeway). We had a little trouble locating the hotel in the dark, so bring your map.

Five star in every respect with a minor exception regarding the tv screen- no color but only had it on for about 2 hours(probably hit something in the menu that didn’t enable color). The front desk was surprised about the tv’s condition when told about it at checkout but he promptly wrote a note to have the tv checked out. I shared the room with a business associate, he on the kingsized bed and myself on a sleeper/sofa . The sleeper/sofa was the best I’ve slept on and I had a very comfortable night’s rest. My business associate and I checked out at 6 AM so we were unable to take advantage of the 7 AM breakfast. We look forward to staying at La Quinta Inn and Suites Temecula again.

Before even arriving; I tried contacting the hotel for specific directions and it took me 15 min. to get someone to answer phone. Every morning, I had to go to front desk to get coffee. My bed was made everyday and fresh towels were replaced but that was it! They never picked up room or cleaned coffee pot or left more coffee. Breakfast only, no room service for other meals.

We had a great stay and in fact extended our stay because we were having such a good time. Extremely comfortable beds. Very clean hotel. Friendly staff.

Loved the cleanliness of the facility and more importantly the room. Very comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave were in the room which made it very convenient for our lengthy stay. Staff was friendly and very accomendating to our needs. The hotel is slightly hidden from the main street and is initially difficult to see. It also sits next to a main highway so the noise (muffled) can be a little distracting. I loved our stay and would definitely stay there again on our next visit.

This hotel is brand new and had everything we were needing in a hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was very clean.

    Jun 19, 2008
This hotel was a great experience and we will definitely go back. The room was spacious, beautiful decor, granite counters, wet bar, refrigerator, flat panel tv. The lobby and hallways were tile and marble inlays. This is a much higher caliber of hotel than you would expect. The staff was exceptional providing restaurant suggestions and menus. Free computer in the lobby close to old town and the wineries.

neat, clean, and a $250 penalty if you smoke in their rooms. I found myself going outside-three floors down. Not a smokers place! Room was nice and clean and no maids waking me up at 7am! The only complaint I really have is that the bed was very stiff and had no cushion. This left me tossing and turning. -I normally like firm beds too!

My room was very clean and comfortable and I felt safe there. Loved the largeness of the bathroom, and the beds were so … comfortable. The staff was most accommodating, helpful and friendly. They all work very hard and strive to do a good job. I would stay there again! The location was great for what I needed. The La Quinta Hotels are my favorite places to stay when I am traveling anywhere in the USA.

This motel was new and such a pleasure. Everything was very clean and the staff was more than helpful. Breakfast was fine, … for those who wanted, and the area was kept cleaned up as needed. We would stay there again, but I am sure that the price will be much higher in the future. It was such a bargain.

The hotel was much better than we anticipated. It was the nicest 2.5 star hotel we’ve ever stayed in - it was clean and comfortable. They have an excellent continental breakfast. They had mufffins, sausage patties, eggs, waffles, fruit, pastries, yogurt, etc. They have a very small pool and a very small hot tub. There are a few restaurants within a 2 minute walk. We booked two rooms and we only have one small complaint which is the hotel is right on the freeway, and the room on the freeway was very noisy. Ask for a room opposite the freeway - it was nice and quiet. Also, when driving there, the hotel is hard to find. When you get off the freeway and head North on Jefferson, turn into the strip mall parking lots. The hotel is hidden behind all of the buildings.

Went to Temecula to go to the wineries. This place is perfect, easy in and easy out, the rooms are very modern, very clean, fabulous Continental Breakfast (fresh waffles), the guy at the desk that works there (glasses) very helpful, cheerful makes sure you’re happy.

I returned from a three night stay at this property a few days ago. The property is new and well kept. Check-in was smooth, and when I asked for a room away from any freeway noise (I-15 off-ramp is behind hotel), I was upgraded to King Suite facing the front of the hotel. The room was large and furnished comfortably, with well-sized sitting area and oversized bath. I found everything to be aesthetically pleasing and functional. The only issue I had was that when I inspected the sofa sleeper, there were crumbs under the seat cushion so I had doubts as to whether housekeeping had checked the pull-out for cleanliness. The continental breakfast was typical LQ offerings, enough to hold you over until an early lunch. The property is conveniently located on the Jefferson Avenue corridor and directly across the freeway from the main shopping area of Temecula (Winchester and Ynez). Dining, banking and other services are all to be found there, including Costco / Costco gas station. Legoland was a 40 minute drive from the hotel. Legoland opened at 10am, so commuting the 30 miles wasn’t an issue as touring the wineries in the area was also one of our pursuits. We tried the White Lady pizza and Strombolli at Temecula Pizza Company and have to say the pizza is worth the visit. Rosas Tortilla Factory was a good lunch stop but can get very crowded. The L&L Hawaiian BBQ place behind the mall on Marguerite had a good BBQ mix plate. A branch of the well reviewed Filippi’s Pizza Grotto out of San Diego is right across Jefferson Ave from the hotel. I will likely return to this hotel in the future, and recommend it as a good place for families.

Highly recommended budget option…Tip - If you are staying in the area to visit the wineries then make sure you get to the Callaway vineyard. At the time of writing (Aug 08), this is the only place which offers tours, plus it is one of the most friendly places to visit and has a great place for lunch - and the wine is excellent.
