The beds were so hard that I felt like I was sleeping in rocks. My wife and I had about 2 hours of sleep because we were constantly tossing and turning. In the middle of the night my wife decided to sleep in the couch and she slept better than I did.Feb 16, 2009
For our purposes, this was an excellent choice to our stay. It was quiet, comfortable and within easy access to everything to make our weekend fun and relaxing.Dec 23, 2008
The hotel sits outside the shops and restaurants of Old Town Temecula, down the same street. The room came with a small refrigerator and microwave. Because they were hidden behind cabinents, under the TV, I did not know right away, that they were there. The queen size bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a good massaging showerhead with a few different spray settings. A good complimentary continental breakfast with yogurt, waffles, cereal, and bagels are served in the morning until 10:30am. All in all, the room was excellent for the money paid.Nov 1, 2008
If staying in this area again, I must say I would try another hotel first. The employees were nice, the continental bfast was more than expected really nice. The room was clean and tidy but when we had an extra guest crawling across the bed right before turning in, it was a real turn off and made it hard to sleep.Apr 18, 2008
Pool was cold, spa was just warm and the hours of use need to be revised. Its a good place to stay for the night if you don’t expect a resort.Jan 25, 2008
Westside adjoins freeway, traffic noise kept me up. Staff acted as if they could care less. Advertized breakfast not the one they served. Green bananas, cheap danishes. Worth about $40/night or go elsewhereDec 9, 2007
Accommodations were adequate. Rooms were clean. Continental breakfast easy for family or a quick get out of town. There is a full service restaurant next door. Easy on and off the freeway. Close enough for casino and wineries.Nov 28, 2007
This is a nice hotel. A little pricey for the online rating, but comparable rates to surrounding hotels. It only has 2 stars but I would give it 3 - 3 1/2 b/c the room was in excellent condition, the area is nice, it is clean, and the continental breakfast is more that donuts and bagels. They had fresh waffles, cereal and someone there to serve you.Sep 15, 2007
The Ramada was a clean, well-maintained hotel. The continental breakfast is one of the best around! Rooms are not too big and the bed was a little hard. Even so, it was still fine for one night. Located very close to Old Town Temecula shopping and restaurants. The pool is small, however no one was using it when we were there. May be a little crowded in the summer. We would stay here again.Guest Comments from Priceline.com

I would stay there again, but not in the rear of the hotel. Service was good, rooms were very clean. Overall the hotel was very clean and orderly. Close to Old Town and close to stores.Nov 14, 2008
More than adequate for a reasonably priced hotel. Continental breakfast had nice selection. Some fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, cereal, rolls
and fresh waffles.Sep 9, 2008
Close to accommodations and easy to access freeways. Rooms are clean but very humid and dark.Aug 29, 2008
The hotel was comfortable and the location was great. The continental breakfast was adequate. I wasn’t blown away by the friendliness of the staff especially the night desk clerk.Guest Comments from Expedia.com

We have been to many different hotels. This one is by far the best choice we made when staying in this area. It’s in a good location and easily accessible to the freeway.Dec 2, 2008
Room was nice and clean, friendly service, quiet, close to old town but a little far to walk there.Nov 5, 2008
My husband and I went to Temecula for the weekend, and we had booked this hotel at the last minute. I thought it was spacious, clean, and in a good location since it was pretty much in close proximity to everything. I was worried about noise since it was right off the freeway, but I didn’t notice any noise our whole stay! I would recommend this hotel to others, I think it’s well worth the price.Sep 30, 2008
It’s a place to rest your head (if you can actually relax in a place like this) but certainly no more. Maybe I’m just spoiled - I typically stay at a Westin or Embassy Suites so take that into consideration.Jul 16, 2008
My sister and I enjoyed the hotel and our stay. Service was wonderful and breakfast buffet very nice. We could sit out on the patio and enjoy the flowers and the view. Even though it is located right off the freeway and next to a Harley Davidson store it was quiet and peaceful. We could walk into Old Town and we felt totally safe and comfortable. I would gladly recommend this hotel.Jun 19, 2008
We appreciated the accommodations of the Temecula Ramada for all of the obvious reasons but we appreciated it even more based on a bad experience we had the night before at the Howard Johnson’s in Norco. Ramada was a better experience overall!Jun 18, 2008
The hotel looked liked the rooms had all just been re-done which was a nice perk! I will say that the room was small considering it had two queen beds inside. The pool was comfortable and the daily continental breakfast was nice. I would stay again for a night or two without the kids, but for travel with the family, another hotel with a larger room would be essential.Jun 4, 2008
Very good value for the price. Good sized room, comfortable bed, nice choice of breakfast food, and easy check-in and out. Close to Palomar Mt. and Oceanside beach, which is the main reason I chose to stay in Temecula. I would definately stay there again.Apr 2, 2008
It’s difficult to tell what a hotel will be like by the few pictures you see but I have only one complaint. We have an infant (6 mo.) and I reserved a single king bed suite. What we ended up in was a double queen. We just needed room for a travel crib.. don’t need another bed for a baby. I’d make sure that you get what you ask for when making the reservations ahead of time so you’re not surprised. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay and the double queen room still had plenty of room for the crib.Guest Comments from Orbitz.com

Pros: A large room; Separate bathroom and vanity area; A refrigerator and a coffemaker; Friendly staff; Good complimentary breakfast.
Cons: Location: the hotel is too close to a freeway and rather far from Old Town; A small and not deep pool; Not properly working spa.Apr 16, 2007
We just needed a place to lay our heads for the night to avoid the morning rush hour traffic. We ent on a ballon ride the … first thing in the morning and the Ramada fit the bill.Feb 21, 2007
Breakfast was very good. Location is Optimal. It was clean but not a VALUE for my moneyJan 28, 2007
This hotel is close to the casino, when you want to gamble, but can’t afford to stay at the casino. Older hotel, cut clean.Guest Comments from Tripadvisor.com

This Ramada is actually pretty nice, the room is large and spacious. It’s a minute away from Old Town and just a short drive from the wineries. The complimentary breakfast is good, you can make your own fresh waffles. They even have a little jacuzzi that never seems to be used. It’s a nice little getaway spot for the price.Feb 21, 2008
Good service, nice clean room, hot spa. The only downside is we had a room on the backside of this hotel and it was very noisy during the rush time traffic.Jan 7, 2008
My husband and I stayed here 2 nights, arriving late the first night and spent all day Saturday seeing Old Town Temecula and the wineries. Therefore, we really just needed a place to sleep at night. The hotel seemed clean enough and our room was quite large. That came in handy when a friend went back to our room to chat awhile after dinner. There was a love seat and big comfy chair to the desk. It seemed that the room had been recently refurbished. I liked the fact that the tub/shower and toilet were in a separate room from the sink/dressing area. The sink had a large counter with granite top. The breakfast was good with hard boiled eggs, waffles, bagels and cream cheese, yogurt etc. The only problem there was the lack of fruit. One problem I noted was the poor quality of the toilet paper. I was really surprised given the quality of the room/hotel. I would also caution that the interstate noise can be quite significant if you are a light sleeper. We travel with a Brookstone white noise machine so are not bothered. There are quite a few hotels near the interstate in Temecula, both north and south of the Old Town area, so this is something to consider. I would stay at this hotel again.Sep 5, 2007
We had a very nice time. Make sure you ask for the AAA discount. The staff was pleasant, the room was clean, and the A/C kept the room very cool! A staff member graciously brought extra pillows to our room per our request. The free breakfast wasn’t much, but enough to get you going. Waffles are made throughout the morning. There are signs stating you can’t bring the food out of the breakfast room, which was disappointing because my husband wasn’t feeling well and I wanted to bring him some food. Overall we still had a nice time.Jun 8, 2007
As far as the hotel is concerned, it is a nice place. It’s backed up against the interstate, so if you get a freeway-facing room, as I once did, it is noisy on that side of the hotel.
They have a breakfast room with an excellent array of food choices. Waffles, fruit, hot and cold cereal, bagels, muffins, juice, hard-boiled eggs, and so on.
It is a 5 minute drive to Pechanga Casino, almost walkable to all the Old Town antique shops (which there are tons) and is conveniently located. A fast-food mexican place (Alberto’s) and a family restaurant practically share the parking lot. Just a block away is a Shell station and Arco AM/PM market as well as a baskin-robbins and weinerschnitzel for additional food and snack choices.
The hotel has sufficient parking and is in a safe neighborhood. The pool seems clean and the hot tub is nice and hot and works well.
This hotel is above average but is expensive on weekends..$155-$165 a night.Click to view more Photos, Maps & Comments.
